Privacy Policy

Last updated July 2026.

Manhattan Holdings LLC ("Apartment Banners", "we", "us", or "our") is a Georgia limited liability company that operates apartmentbanners.com (the "Site") and sells custom-printed banners, stands, and related signage nationwide. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have regarding that information. By visiting our Site, creating an account, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you consent to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use our Site:

  • Identifiers & contact data: name, email address, phone number, and (when relevant) business or community/property name.
  • Order details: shipping address, billing address, product selections, size, material, finish, quantity, artwork files, and any notes or instructions you provide.
  • Artwork files: design files you upload or create using our online banner designer.
  • Account information: login email and password (stored in encrypted form) if you choose to create an account.
  • Payment data: limited transaction information needed to confirm and fulfill your order. Full card numbers are handled entirely by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
  • Usage & device data: pages viewed, referral source, approximate location, IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically to operate and improve the Site.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To process, produce, and ship your orders and to provide order confirmations, proofs, and status updates.
  • To communicate with you about your order, quote, or design request, and to provide customer support.
  • To verify your identity, prevent fraud, and maintain the security of our Site.
  • To improve our products, website performance, and services.
  • To send promotional emails only if you opt in — you may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
  • To comply with our legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary consideration.

3. Cookies Policy

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to operate the Site and improve your experience. Cookies are small text files stored on your device. The categories we use include:

  • Essential cookies: required for the shopping cart, account login, and secure checkout to function. The Site cannot operate properly without these.
  • Preference cookies: remember your settings, such as selected product options, for a smoother experience.
  • Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may prevent some features of the Site (such as the shopping cart or login) from working correctly. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" setting; because there is no consistent industry standard for interpreting this signal, we do not currently alter our practices based on it.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party service providers to operate our business. These providers may receive limited personal information needed to perform their functions and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations. Our providers include:

  • Payment processing: Square, Inc. processes card payments securely in accordance with PCI-DSS. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Web hosting & platform: the cloud hosting and application platform that stores Site data and serves apartmentbanners.com.
  • Analytics: tools that help us measure traffic and usage (these may collect aggregated, non-identifying data).
  • Email & communications: services used to send order confirmations, proofs, and (if you opt in) marketing messages.
  • Shipping carriers: carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and the U.S. Postal Service receive the recipient name and shipping address to deliver your order.
  • File storage: secure storage for the artwork files you upload.

We do not authorize these providers to use your personal information for their own independent purposes beyond performing services on our behalf.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

  • With the service providers listed above, only as necessary to fulfill your order and operate our business.
  • When required by law, court order, or government regulation, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business (subject to continued confidentiality).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for promotional purposes.

6. Security of Information

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information, including secure hosting, encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), restricted internal access, and regular review of our practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you provide your information at your own risk.

7. Data Retention Policy

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specifically:

  • Active order records: retained for the life of your account and relationship with us, and thereafter as needed for reorders and customer support.
  • Artwork files: retained to produce your order and to support reorders and quality reference, then removed on request (see below).
  • Financial & tax records: retained as required by applicable federal and Georgia recordkeeping laws (typically several years).
  • Marketing data: retained only while you remain opted in, and removed promptly after you unsubscribe.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or render it anonymous.

8. Data Deletion Policy

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at contact@apartmentbanners.com. We will process verified requests within a reasonable timeframe (generally 30 days) and delete or anonymize your data, except where we are legally required to retain certain records (for example, tax or transaction records). Please note that deleting your account data may limit our ability to process reorders or provide support for past orders.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information, where legally permitted.
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
  • Withdraw any consent you previously gave.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@apartmentbanners.com. We will verify your identity before processing requests and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), grants you additional rights:

  • Right to know: the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the sources, the business or commercial purpose, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it.
  • Right to delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out: opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. "Sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising may be a category we address if and when applicable; you may opt out by contacting us.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: we do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to fulfill your order.
  • Right to non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

To submit a request, email contact@apartmentbanners.com. We may need to verify your identity. Authorized agents may submit requests with written permission and proof of identity.

11. "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"

We do not sell your personal information. If our practices change, we will provide a clear "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism on this page. To opt out of any future sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, contact contact@apartmentbanners.com.

12. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our Site and services are intended for business customers and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 in a manner subject to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@apartmentbanners.com and we will promptly delete that information. We do not knowingly market to or solicit information from children under 13.

13. State-Specific Notices

Residents of states with their own privacy laws (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah) may have rights similar to those described above. To exercise any available rights, contact contact@apartmentbanners.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

14. International Users

Our Site is intended for users in the United States. If you access our Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, and you consent to that transfer.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
